April 2026 Recap

Always-On Community Engagement

April highlighted how consistent the Pudgy ecosystem has become.

Activity carried on through content, discussions, and community-led initiatives that kept people involved day to day. We've had a resurgence in X (Twitter) Spaces, giving people consistent ways to participate and onboard others into the huddle.

The Inner Igloo Meeting, our bi-weekly community town hall, remained a key moment for alignment, with hundreds of Penguins showing up strong each time.

New initiatives like WelcomePengu helped welcome new members (props to ImIncog), while creators and community leaders‍ drove engagement through content, memes, and storytelling.

Product News

April introduced a series of partnerships that continue to expand Pudgy Penguins across infrastructure, products, and global IP.

Paxos

Support from Paxos enables broader accessibility for $PENGU across major retail platforms, bringing the ecosystem closer to everyday users at scale.

PlayMonster

A new partnership with PlayMonster, known for creating widely distributed IRL games, sets the stage for bringing Pudgy Penguins into physical gaming experiences.

Licensing Expo

We also announced Pudgy Penguins' to Licensing Expo for the third year in a row, continuing to position the brand alongside some of the world’s leading IPs and expanding its reach through global partnerships.

Kast Card Launch

The widely anticipated physical PENGU Card was officially released. What may seem like a simple product carries deeper meaning, bringing Pudgy Penguins into everyday life in a tangible way and creating moments people can actually experience.

The community quickly embraced it, sharing how they’re using the card in real life and turning everyday transactions into something fun and memorable.

VanEck Collectible

April also saw the release of a new collaboration with VanEck, a global asset manager known for its ETF products and presence across traditional finance.

This partnership builds on a longstanding relationship. VanEck has been rocking a penguin PFP on X for the past couple of years and consistently engaging with the community. They’ve also leaned into the theme across their broader marketing, featuring Pudgy Penguins in ETF campaign videos.

The limited edition VanEck Intern collectible reflects a natural evolution of that relationship, turning ongoing alignment into a physical product that sits at the intersection of finance and culture.

Pengu on Capitol Hill

April also marked an important milestone as Pudgy Penguins and PENGU made their way to Capitol Hill.

The team hosted its first event with members of Congress, using the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem to demonstrate how consumer-facing brands can bring real-world, mass-market use cases for crypto to life. It was a moment that extended the conversation beyond the industry and into broader policy and public discourse.

As the ecosystem continues to grow, moments like these reinforce a larger idea: progress for Pudgy Penguins contributes to the advancement of crypto as a whole.

April showed that Pudgy Penguins doesn’t rely on singular moments. The system stays active, driven by a community that continues to show up, build, and bring others along. As we move forward, that consistency is what turns momentum into something lasting.
